Story
For those of you too lazy to read through the archives, here’s a semi-brief synopsis:
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…
No, not really. It’s present day.
Chapter I
Prime Evil, fearer of oompa-loompas, creator of a clone army, emperor of The Game and psychotic extraordinaire, has grown bored with his daily routine of killing game-generated heroes who have no chance to survive (make their time). Conveniently, he is able to phone in a portal to the real world and kidnap a boy gamer, Ross.
Prime and his stuffed companion, Herodoll, greet the hero. He soon discovers that Ross is not the challenge he expected, and tells Ross to “threaten me when you’ve leveled up.”

Chapter II
Thus, Prime leaves Ross to wander around The Game in his boxers. Two sprites, James and Kristina, take notice, and show Ross the ropes. Ross introduces himself, and accidentally forces them to join his party. He is a hero sprite, after all. They purchase him some clothes and a weapon at Sam’s NPC shop, and go to level up.
After a few hours of mind-less EXP gaining, Ross gets turned into a frog by a particularly powerful monster. James and Kristina take Ross in to the next town to find a way to cure him. They pay off a witch doctor, who tells them to find a princess. When they locate the nearest princess, a Mangel, a ninja and a samurai (named David and Davis, respectively) immediately capture her! Drama! Suspense!
The main party follows the princess-nabbers to the [Cave to the West], and does battle with them. They get soundly pwned. Before they die, James tries to tell Kristina something very important… But, Shifah, the Ice Goddess summon, appears out of (seemingly) nowhere and defeats David and Davis, thus saving the party. The party levels up and receives a [Karaoke Mic].

Chapter III
The party finds out that it was the Mangel princess who summoned Shifah, and thank her for saving their lives. She kisses Ross after some coaxing. Ross talks to the princess, finds out her name is Stephanie, and has her (again, accidentally) join the party. Kristina goes in to tutorial mode to explain [Switching Party Members]. As a result, Stephanie gets switched out and sent back to Dawn Town because there can only be three characters in a party.

Suddenly, Cassandra drops down from the trees, and asks the party if they won a [Karaoke Mic] from the party. She joins the party, much to the consternation of James: he gets sent to Dawn Town because of her taking his place in the party.
The main party, sans James and Stephanie, travel to the next town and restock their supplies in Sam’s store. She offers them a magical map to a weapon upgrade, which they buy.
Meanwhile, Prime wonders what Ross is up to and begins watching his adventures through his T.V. There he spots Kristina, and is instantly smitten. Prime hires a bounty hunter named Gareth to bring her back to his castle. Gareth, who is queasy around girls, reluctantly agrees, and begins tracking the party though the forest.
Because of Ross and Cassandra’s terrible map reading skills, the party ends up lost in the forest. They stumble upon a hippie commune. Sarah, one of the demi-humans there, offers to be their guide to the snowy mountain with the weapon upgrade. Because Sarah joins the party, Kristina gets switched out.
Poor Gareth follows her all the way to Dawn Town, where he snatches her up and carries her off. James flips out and tells Stephanie they have to save Kristina. Stephanie refuses, as it would be “breaking the rules.” James convinces her to come anyway.
When Stephanie agrees and steps away from the town limits, something happens to her. She begins to see in color. James explains that he was able to see a little bit of it before, but since he joined Ross’s party, he’s able to see quite a bit more of it. And they’re off, to save Kristina!
